The Scariest: Black Roses

The Scariest: Black Roses

Directed by John Fasano in 1988, Black Roses featured a Heavy Metal soundtrack with music by King Kobra, Tempest, Lizzy Borden and Hallow’s Eve, which turned it into an underground cult favorite.

The underlying horror theme might not make you dance so enthusiastically. The plot concerns how a musical group, Black Roses, performs in a small town and turns all the music fans into monsters.

Isn’t that obvious in the photo above? Fasano came out of it okay and went on to become a TV and feature film director. Shocking!
